Welcome to Bookzee. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Bookzee website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who we are
Bookzee provides a platform that connects customers with salons, barbershops, and independent professionals (“Partners”). Bookzee is a technology facilitator and does not itself provide grooming or beauty services unless expressly stated.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account and book services. If you use the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
4. Bookings and payments
When you book through Bookzee, you enter into an agreement with the Partner for the delivery of services. Pricing, cancellation windows, and no-show policies may be set by the Partner and displayed in the app. Payment processing may be handled by Bookzee or authorized third-party providers. You agree to pay all fees associated with your bookings in accordance with the payment method you provide.
5. Cancellations and refunds
Cancellation and refund rules depend on the Partner’s policy and the type of booking. Please refer to our Refund Policy for more detail.
6. User conduct
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by submitting false information, harassing Partners or other users, circumventing fees, scraping data without permission, or using the Service for any unlawful purpose.
7. Intellectual property
Bookzee and its licensors own all rights in the Service, including software, branding, and content we create. Partners retain rights in their own listings and materials. You receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Service for personal or internal business use as intended.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” to the maximum extent permitted by law. See our Disclaimer for important limitations.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Bookzee and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly. Our aggregate liability for claims arising out of the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to Bookzee for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) INR 5,000, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bookzee and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of third-party rights.
11. Changes
We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the “Last updated” date in the hero section. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance unless applicable law requires additional consent.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts at a location we designate shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any consumer protections that apply to you.
