This Refund Policy explains how cancellations, refunds, and chargebacks work when you use Bookzee to book services with Partner salons and professionals.
1. General
Bookzee facilitates bookings between you and independent Partners. Refund eligibility often depends on when you cancel, the Partner’s policy, and whether payment was collected by Bookzee or directly by the Partner.
2. Cancellations by you
- Within free-cancellation window: If you cancel before the deadline shown at checkout or in your booking details, you may receive a full refund to your original payment method or wallet credit, as displayed in the app.
- After the deadline: The Partner or Bookzee may charge a partial or full fee according to the stated policy. No refund may be due if the booking is marked as late cancellation or no-show.
3. Cancellations or changes by the Partner
If a Partner cancels or cannot fulfil a confirmed booking, you will typically receive a full refund or the option to rebook, unless an alternative remedy is offered and you accept it.
4. No-shows
If you do not arrive for a confirmed appointment without cancelling in accordance with the applicable policy, the booking may be treated as fulfilled or subject to a fee, and refunds may not apply.
5. Dissatisfaction with service quality
Service quality issues should first be raised with the Partner. If unresolved, contact Bookzee support with your booking reference. We may mediate in good faith; outcomes may include partial refunds, credits, or rebooking, at our discretion and subject to verification.
6. Processing time
Approved refunds are usually initiated within a reasonable number of business days. Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the amount to your account.
7. Promotional credits and vouchers
Refunds for bookings paid with promotional credits or vouchers may be restored as credits rather than cash, as stated in the offer terms.
8. Chargebacks
We encourage you to contact support before initiating a chargeback. Chargebacks filed without a valid basis may result in account restrictions and may not reverse fees already owed to Partners under their agreement.
9. Changes
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date in the hero section reflects the latest version. Specific booking screens may show additional rules that apply to that transaction.
